This provincial campground is 5km southwest of Fort Macleod on Hwy 3 along the Oldman River. The campground features 40 unserviced campsites, each with firepits and easy access to activities like geocaching, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. 

You’ll need to bring your own drinking water, but the site has pump water available for non-ingestible uses like putting out campfires. Bathroom facilities are pit/vault (outhouse) toilets and there are no shower facilities available. 

The campground is open from May to October and is managed by Alberta Parks.

Located north of Fort Macleod on Highway 811, the Fort Macleod Lions Club Campground sits in the 20 acre John Zoeteman Park. 

The campground offers 30 rustic or unserviced campsites along the banks of Willow Creek. In addition to the sites, the park has camp kitchens, public washrooms, a ball diamond, and a playground area with a swing set.  

For those looking for a no muss or fuss camping experience that’s easy on the wallet, this campground is just for you! The sites are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so keep up to date via their Facebook page.

The Blue Trail RV Resort is a stunning RV park nestled within a bow on the Waterton River. It is located north of the Village of Glenwood and only 30 km from Fort Macleod.

It offers a variety of sites from riverside, tree, open, along the golf course or overlooking the golf course. Sites are available on an annual basis.
